It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Rankin (Pierre, South Dakota), who passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hagemann and Dorothy Hagemann (Rutherford); her husband Bud; and her siblings, Stan Ruttmann (Clara), Siever Ruttman, Bud Ruttman, Schuyler Ruttman (Elaine), Robert Hagemann (Marilyn), Edna Schmitz (Harry), Dollie Rolston (Marvin) and Dorothy "Dot" Gilsinger (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Ricketts (Jim) and Sara Rankin; her stepdaughters, Gloria Schmidt (Cliff) of Pierre and Deb Holmes (Terry) of Pierre; and her grandchildren, Sheila Ricketts (Chas Olson), Kyle Ricketts (Bailey), Jeff Schmidt (Jane), Travis Schmidt (Julie), Rowdy Schmidt (Amy) and Cory Holmes (Dawn). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
