He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his grandson Jesse Rounds; his great grandchild Christopher Stoeser; his parents, Marion Rounds and Mary Rounds; his siblings, Gordon, Wesley, Ella Mae Drake, Marion, Dale and Bob; and also, John Kauth and Georgiana Kauth.

He is survived by: his friend Rosemary Scarborough; his son Tim; his wife Rosemary; his children, Mike (Jean), Michele Brich (Randy), Dennis, Douglas (Jackie), Timothy (Kristin), Daniel (Wendey), Thomas (Shelly), Patrick (Michelle), Steven (DeeAnn), Scott (Kara) and Jamison (Cathy); his stepchildren, Michelle Julian (Rob), Marc Scarborough (Pam) and Ryan Scarborough (Patricia); his siblings, Marge Blue and Jim Rounds (Janice); and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Reinartz, Myron Reinartz (Darlene) and David Heer (Ruth). He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
