With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dick Menning of Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Menning and Delilah Menning (Jacobsen); his brother Leo; his sister-in-law Jean Menning; his niece Becky Menning; and his great grandchild Liam Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Menning; his children, Duane Menning (Shanon), Debora Isernhagen (Brian) and Denise Bowman; his brothers, Jim Menning (Phylis Carlson) and Simon Jr. Menning (Joann); his grandchildren, Makenna Glanzer (Adam), Cole Severson, Tyson Curtis, Tanner Curtis, Stetson Curtis, Lane Isernhagen (Arielle), Megan Bowman and Drew Bowman; and his brothers, Nyxon Curtis, Aleeyah Curtis and Hayzlee Curtis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Isburg Funeral Chapels (439 S Pierre St, Pierre, SD 57501). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Peter & Paul Catholic Church (304 N Euclid Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
