With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delores Wheeler of Pierre, South Dakota, born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Johnson and Lillian Johnson; her former husband Kenneth Ackerman; her husband Wayne Wheeler of Pierre; her sister Agnes Johnson; and her son-in-law Mark Neuberger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Ackerman Neuberger of Encinitas, CA, Lori Ackerman Shaffer of Rapid City, SD, Cheryl Wheeler Stoeser (Randy) of Fort Pierre, SD and Susan Wheeler of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Dustin Shaffer (Jess), Trevor Shaffer, Lucas Stoeser and Tracy Stoeser Frost (Aric); and her great grandchildren, Eli Stoeser, Avry Frost, Presley Frost, Bentley Frost, Kaylie Foisel and Chloe Foisel.
