It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Marie Fernandez of Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Donald, Madalyn Oakley, Harold and Minnie Brandt. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Oakley and Marilyn Oakley (Brandt); her husband Jose Andres Fernandez; her children, Kristen Meier, Bryanna and Brandon Fernandez; her grandchildren, Bently and Sawyer Meier; and her siblings, Keith Oakley (Sheila), Jamie Oakley (Trisha), Tina Franzen (Michael) and Holly Propson (Matthew).
