David Brakke Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Brakke (Pierre, South Dakota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on March 14, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Brakke and Lura Brakke (Stephenson); his siblings-in-law, Alys Ann Brakke and JD Callaway; and his niece Lauren Sue Miller.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kay Calloway of Bay St, Noble Brakke of Canby, MN and Kim Brakke (Donna) of Presho; and his nieces and nephews, Neal, Sid, Jann, Joy, Jordon, Jamie, Anne, Evan, Blaine and Levi.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (204 Fir Ave, Presho, SD 57568).
