He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Hillmer; his sons-in-law, Shayne and Monte; his children, Darylynn Plucker (Monte) of Parker, SD, Shellie Krog (Shayne) of Ft. Pierre, SD, Daryll Stuart II (Chad Davis) of Chattanooga, TN and Erin Ruhl of Rapid City, SD; his grandchildren, Mandee Adrian (Jared), Casey Krog (Brittany), Tanner Plucker (Melissa), Sara Deelstra (Michael), Tyler Ruhl and Ava Ruhl; his great grandchildren, McKenzye Gunderson (Daniel Scotting), Connor Krog, Colton Krog, Jaylyn Adrian, Jaycyn Adrian, Lincoln Deelstra, Evelyn Plucker, Baylor Krog, Avery Deelstra and Scarlett Plucker; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lindsie Adrian and Taylor Adrian; his great great grandchildren, Ashbee Anderson and Goku Porter; his siblings, Deloris Hannum (Casey) and Dean Stuart; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Hillmer (Nell), Doug Hillmer (Peggy), Rex Hillmer (Deb), Alice Hillmer, Kathy Stuart and Francie Larsen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
