She was predeceased by: her parents, William Valburg and Helen Valburg (Walters); her husband Orville; her brother Dale Valburg; her son-in-law Ray Besler; and her granddaughter Corina Booth.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brent, Mike, Sara, Todd, Kyle, Andrew, Lori, Jennifer and Brad; her great grandchildren, Ty, Dylan, Saylor, Rachel, Emily, Aspen, Henry, Ryan, Madelyn, James, Liz, Bree, Eli, Torence and Warren; her children, Dave Fuoss (Kathy), Bob Fuoss (Diane), Sonja Booth (LeRoy) and Carol Shepherd (Tom); her brother Bill "BJ" Valburg (Ellen); and her siblings-in-law, Isabelle Valburg, Viola Lightfield, Mary Ann Johnson and Floyd Fuoss. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“Darline was such a loving woman and quite a scientist before the internet. I met her at the Vivian Lutheran Church when I was home at the ranch visiting my brothers. I don't remember meeting her when Dave and I were at Riggs together. It was only a church service visit, but it was epic. I'm sure you understand how your mom impacted so many people.
