She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Ripperger and Carolyn "Carrie" Ripperger (Pierrot); her siblings, Marie Bettmeng, Theresa Anderson, Dorothy Dietrich, Lionel, Harold and Gerald Ripperger; and her daughter Cindy Marie Keitch.

She is survived by: her husband Gene Winton Stampe of Rutland, SD.; and her sons, Scott (Mary) of Spearfish, Tim (Melanie) of Pierre and Jamie (Jody) of Rapid City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
