It is with great sadness that we announce the death of CariDee R. Foley of Pierre, South Dakota, born in Keystone, South Dakota, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelia Cordes (Zwetzig) and Vincent Cordes; her husband John Lawrence Foley; her daughter Mary Patricia; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Foley (Patricia) and Msgr.

She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Mary Foley Holt (Dale), Andrew E. Foley (Christina Ferma), John N. Foley (Melanie), Joseph V. Foley, Thomas B. Foley, Michael Madigan, MD (Melissa Meyer, MD), Matthew Madigan (Claire), Kelly Madigan, Katherine McCarr, Elizabeth McCarr, Thomas McCarr, Emerson Foley, Oliver Foley, John "Jack" Foley, Fremont Forsberg, Gregory Forsberg, Robert Forsberg, Samson Holt and Miriam Rose Holt; her children, Vincent A. Foley (Patricia M.) of Watertown, SD, Ann Madigan (Mike) of Winston-Salem, NC, Sheila McCarr (Tom) of St. Paul, MN and John C. Foley, MD (Tamara) of Minneapolis, MN; her siblings, Mary Lee Smith of Rapid City, SD, LaVeta Giannonatti (Dean) of Rapid City, SD and Bernard Cordes of Keystone, SD; her brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Seymour of North Glenn, CO; and her nephews, Gregory Seymour, Michael Foley and Andrew Foley. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren (named as pallbearers); two great-grandchildren.
