He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zimmerman and Olga Zimmerman (Koepplin); and his son Kelly James Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marie Zimmerman (Buckley) of Pierre, SD; his children, Beverly of Bloomington, MN, Kevin of Rapid City, SD, Kim, Dan McRae of Black Hawk, SD and Erin Marie'ErBear'; his grandchildren, Cody, Taylor, Emalee, Jeremy, Hydee and Jesalyn; and his sister Norma Hirning of Dickinson, ND..
