It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Karl Van Pelt (Piedmont, South Dakota), born in Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on May 13, 2018, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Hazel Van Pelt; his grandparents, Karl Pelt, Gertrude Van Pelt, Sadie Paul and Herbert Pingrey; his uncle Nick Van Pelt; his aunt Tammy Van Pelt; and his friend Mike Kutz.
He is survived by: his parents, Timothy Pelt and Linda Van Pelt (Pingrey); his daughter Ali; his wife Tia (Voyles); his children, Aliyah Kono (Charlie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Hannah, Tessa and Levi; his sister Becki Van Pelt of Omaha, NE; his parent-in-law Robert "Bob"; his brother-in-law Jesse Voyles (Kayla); and also Cindy Voyles.
