It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby L Flaig of Piedmont, South Dakota, born in Geddes, South Dakota, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stekley and Anna Stekley (Teply); her husband Harold Flaig; and her sister Mary Ann. She is survived by: her son Jerry Flaig; her grandson Brady Flaig; her daughter Julie Bertsch (Steve Bertsch); her grandchildren, Merissa Alink (David Alink), Miranda Kruse (Matt Kruse), Kyle Bertsch (Shelby Bertsch) and Jenny Bertsch; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Josiah, Josie Alink, Kylee, Cole, Jace and Ivy Kruse.
Memorials will be made in her honor to Hospice and Hills View Church.
