He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Rose Tideman; his children, Valarie Schlem of Tilford, SD, Dana Schmidt (Rich) of Huffman, TX and Richard Schlem of Rapid City, SD; his siblings, John Schlem and Marie McCollum; his grandchildren, Kelsey Schmidt, Zachary Schmidt and Elias Schlem; his wife Rose M. Schlem (Dierks); his parent Rose E. Schlem; and his siblings, Charlie Schlem and Sharon Schlem.
