In loving memory of Raught Atterbery of Piedmont, South Dakota, who departed this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Raught leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Crellis Atterbery and Monica Atterbery (Pulse); his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Howard; and his sons, Carl and Henry.
He is survived by: his daughter Micki Trujillo (Shaniel); his grandchildren, Merya Sammeli (Jordon), Kira Hyde (Kelly), Faith Hough (Casey), Meranda Miller (Troy), Carl Atterbery, Dustin Trujillo and Andrew Trujillo; and his great grandchildren, Trevor Shaw and Rylee Sammeli.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kirk Funeral Home (1051 E Minnesota St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hill City Cemetery (12498 Harney Peak W Rd, Hill City, SD 57745).
