He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor Kissinger (Bazelman); his son Michael Keith Kissinger, Jr.; his father Ralph Owen Kissinger; and his grandparents, Ralph Kissinger, Hazel Kissinger and Dora Kissinger (Kirkpatrick).
He is survived by: his children, Kyowa Louise Kissinger and Kolton Cheyenne-Haze Kissinger (Kari Kissinger Piedmont); his close friend Stephen Bifulco; the mother of his children Bethel Kissinger (Jones) of Sturgis, SD; his sister Deanna (Ralph Rendina) of Thousand Oaks, CA; his nieces, Lisa Rendina, Amy Rendina and Jeanette Rendina-Lewis; his grandchildren, Kally (Randy Aga) of Black Hawk, SD, Karly (Adam Grubl) of Sturgis, SD, Izabelle Quilt of Phoenix Arizona, Carsen Kissinger of Loveland and Dru Quilt of Rapid City, SD; and his great grandchildren, Lane, Emmett, Klancey, Kaydence, Ryder, Ryatt and Rogue.
