He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron B. McVay and Ida McVay (Buchtel); and his wife Alta E McVay (Cooper). He is survived by: his children, Sheila Shaw (RT), Don McVay (Rita) and Janet Mattern. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
