He is survived by: his siblings, Illa Anderson (Dennis), Mary Ann Rankin, Linda Bay (David), Deloris Whaley (Kenny), Leroy Rankin (Donna), Albert Rankin (Cindy), Jerry Rankin (Dawna) and Dean Rankin (Kris); his significant other Annette Borrego; and his daughters, Crystal and Brandi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
