With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth Gatzke of Piedmont, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Gatzke (Kamstra) and Herbert Gatzke; his sister Kathy Neilson; and his sister-in-law Malinda Gatzke. He is survived by: his wife Collette Hecker of Piedmont, S. D.; his children, Aaron Gatzke (Megan) of Colorado Springs and Debbie Watson (Desmond) of Spearfish; his grandchildren, Lily Whittaker, Heidi Gatzke, Trudi Gatzke, Seth Gatzke, Sadie Gatzke, Noel Gatzke, Aurora Gatzke and Brother Dale Gatzke of Rapid City; and his brother Steven Gatzke (Kathy) of Newell, S. D.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shiloh Church (11700 J B Rd, Black Hawk, SD 57718). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
