He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Maxwell (Dick) and Florence Maxwell; his wife Marlene; and his brother Donald Maxwell. He is survived by: his pets, Patches and Kory; his children, Michelle Attig (Kevin) and Brian Maxwell (Caryn); his grandsons, Zachary Maxwell, Matthew Attig and Tanner Maxwell; and his siblings, Karolyn Olmstead (Art) and Richard Maxwell.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that a donation be made in Joe's name to the Black Hills Children's Home, 24100 S Rockerville Rd, Rapid City, SD 57702.
