It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Joseph Maicki Jr. (Piedmont, South Dakota), who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Maicki and Mae Maicki (Visger); his wife Carol; and his sons, Henry (Duke) and Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Matt (Jan West) of Rapid City, SD, Julia, Pecos and Mary (John Farrell) of Rapid City, SD; and his grandchildren, Steven, Matt, Tia Marie, Jason (Tasha) and Rebecca (Rob). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00pm-7pm on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Our Lady of the Black Hills Catholic Church in Piedmont, with recitation of the Rosary to follow at 7pm (the church will be practicing masks & social distancing).
