With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Nupen (Piedmont, South Dakota), born in Bryant, South Dakota, who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Erickson and Helen Erickson; her siblings, Curtis, Lily, Jeanette and LaVonne; her former husband Jay Masten; her husband Curtis Nupen; her son Ryan (Valerie); and her stepchildren, Terri (Albert) of Brookings, Trudi (Rick) of Brookings and Brad (Sonya) of Brookings.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the youth programs of Piedmont Valley Lutheran Church.
