Norman Payne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2021, Norman Payne of Philip, South Dakota, born in Aurora, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Payne and Florence Payne (Beers); his wife Kay Abel; his son Doug; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Hoefert and JoAnn Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Dean and Kaelyn McSherry (Chris) of Rapid City; his grandchildren, Ashley Neville of Mesa, Taylor McSherry of Rapid City and Sgt. Derek "DJ" Neville; his great grandchild Robert Neville; and his siblings, Joyce Hoefert of Hartford, Paul Payne (LeAnne) of Plankinton and Willard Payne of Mitchell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Church or Prairie Transportation.
