She was predeceased by: her father Orville Kiel. She is survived by: her siblings, Loren Kiel of Philip, SD, Dolores Johnson of Livermore, CA and Fred Kiel of Lanesboro, MN; her daughters, Larene DeVine of Hopatcong, NJ and Denise Parker of Rogersville, TN; her sons-in-law, Kevin and John; and her grandchildren, Alex, Jessalyn, Seth, Robin, Sean and James.

Marjorie -- known variously as "Marge," "Marnie," or "GramMarge," depending on whom you asked – lived 88 delightful years, traveling the world as a music educator before succumbing to Alzheimer's on August 18, 2019 in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
