She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Knutson and Andrena Knutson (Valsvig); her sister LuAnn Baker (Jim); and her brother-in-law Bob Hansen. She is survived by: her husband Mike of Philip; her children, Darren Gebes (Karen) of Whitewood, Courtney Gebes of Philip, Justin Gebes (Lacy) of Hermosa, Bradley Gebes (Kathy) of Milesville and Sally Gebes (Chad) of Wallace, MI; her grandchildren, Blase, Stephen, Cormac, Rex, Brech, Gianna, Brigid, Kiara, Emma, Andrena, Ashley and Devin; her siblings, LaVonne Hansen of Philip, Becky Brech (Scott) of Cottonwood, John Knutson (Arnis) of Grindstone and William "Bill" Knutson (Gretchen) of Brookings; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Hauck (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rush Funeral Home (165 US-14, Philip, SD 57567). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the American Legion Hall.
