With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob Addison of Philip, South Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Jacob's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Addison and Alvina Addison (Sanftner); and his daughter Mary Ann Addison. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter of Philip; and his children, Sid Addison (Lesa) of Tuthill, Jim Addison (Georganna) of Belvidere, DJ Addison (Sonja) of Belvidere and Sara Pfeifle of Philip. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Cemetery.
