He was predeceased by: his grandmother Grace; his daughter Loni Barse-Robertson; his grandchildren, Hayley Wegleitner, Jordyn Barse and Lawren Barse Jr.; and his siblings, Ronald Barse, Ernie Barse, Orville LaBatte, Stanley Barse, Frances Barse, Darlene Keoke, Jean Locke, Doris Barse and Floyd Kirk Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Barse; his children, Leslie Jr. Barse (Rochelle) of Sisseton, Lydell Barse of Minneapolis, MN., Lawren Barse of Sisseton, LaRae Richter (Randy) of Sisseton and Lona Barse of Sisseton; and his siblings, Veronica Ojeda of Watertown, SD, Randy Barse (Karen) of Mohave Valley, Brenda Solberg of Sisseton, SD, Frank Barse Jr. of Sisseton, SD, Peggy DeCoteau (Darrell) of Flandreau, SD, Faith Erickson (Dennis) of Egan, SD, Russell Barse of Peever, SD, Anita Barse of Flandreau, SD, David Barse of Agency Village, SD, Donna Barse of Flandreau, SD., Eleanor Kirk of Agency Village and Connie Abraham (Dean). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.
Due to the Corona virus and social distancing there will be no wake services, there will be immediate family only visitation at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church on Friday, from noon to 2:00 P. M.
