He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramona Bender (Greeley) and Pete Bender Sr.; his son Robert Bender (Deceased); his brother Pete Bender; and his grandparents, Lucy and Silas Greeley.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Redwing; his grandson Kenneth Bender of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Edna Bender, Fena Redwing (Richard), Summit and Thomas Bender; and his friends, Harvey and Phyllis Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
