It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Blacksmith of Peever, South Dakota, who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Blacksmith-Johnson and Olie Shepherd; his son Jacob Blacksmith Jr.; and his siblings, Lorenzo Blacksmith, Douglas Blacksmith, Raymond Finley Jr., Magnus Shepherd, Dorothy Finley and Della Mae Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Konji; and his siblings, Larry Finley of Watertown, SD, Gideon Shepherd of Sisseton, SD, Solomon Shepherd of Peever, SD and Sophronia Crawford of Peever, SD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
