He is survived by: his wife Mildred Hanson of Parkston; his children, Tamara Brunken (Dan) of Springfield, Jon Fischer (Dawn) of Hartford and Joel Fischer (Gloria) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Cassie Lawrence, Christy Pengitore, Cassie Goettsch and Isaac Fischer; his great grandchildren, Payton Lawrence, Harvey Pengitore, Remi Pengitore and River Starch; and his siblings, Lorraine Peters of Parkston, Berniece Bialas of Parkston, Harold Fischer of Parkston and Dr. Louis Fischer (Mary) of Naples, FL..
Due to Covid concerns, a public graveside service will be held Thursday, September 24 at 11:00 am at Parkston Protestant Cemetery in Parkston.
