He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Freier and Beatha Freier (Leischner); his wife Elaine Decker; his son Douglas; his great grandchildren, Keelyn and Ashlyn Klinkhammer; and his sisters, Luella Sprecher and Gertrude Carstens.
He is survived by: his children, Garry Freier (Jo) of Mitchell, SD, Joel Freier (Brenda) of Cutler, OH and Denise Muntefering (Mike) of Dimock, SD; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Josh, Chris, Steve Freier, Heather Taylor, Jennifer Trustem, Alexia Klinkhammer, Drew Muntefering, Mallory Zirpel, Ian Lyn and Olivia Kaptis. He is also survived by Four children were born to this union, 3 sons and 1 daughter.
