She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Leischner and Martha Leischner (Tiede); her siblings, Marlys Moege and Calvin Leischner; her siblings-in-law, Wally Zirpel, Leonard Reimnitz, William Bertram, Malvin Zirpel, Herb Moege, Lillian Zirpel and Wilma Reimnitz; and her niece Carol Goehring.
She is survived by: her husband Martin Zirpel of Parkston; her children, Daniel Zirpel (Debbi) of Parkston, Geraldine Sudbeck (Bill) of Parkston, Karen Farris (Rick) of Mitchell, SD, Donald Zirpel (Bonnie) of Parkston, Brian Zirpel (Angie) of Lennox, SD and Thomas Zirpel (Kristi) of Parkston; and her siblings-in-law, Marian Gehring, Margaret Bertram, Edna Stoebner and Dennis Stoebner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (201 W Cherry St, Parkston, SD 57366). A prayer was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
