“I just learned of Lori's passing. We were neighbors and friends in our youth in East Moline, IL and had reconnected via telephone in the last couple of years. She had a spark and a twinkle in her eye that I could still hear in her voice years later over the phone! She loved her friends and family though maybe did not verbalize it very often. She was brave and stepped into life rather than watch it. She will always have a piece of my heart. RIP, Lori. My condolences to family. Susie Besemer”
