She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel Hins and Hulda Hins (Koenig); her husband Ruben Fuerst; her daughter Jean; and her sisters, Lois, Louise, Jane and Beverly.

She is survived by: her daughter Carole Brown of Denver, CO; her grandsons, Chris Brown (Carolyn) and Tyler Brown (Aubrey); and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Tysen, Austin and Hunter.
