She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Wegehaupt and Ottilia Wegehaupt Jr. (Scheetz); her husband Elmer C. Geidel; her daughter Geraldine Stark; her sons-in-law, Eldon Gehner and Michael Kayl; her grandsons, Chris Kayl and Jeff Stark; her siblings, Adeline Storm, Margaret Geidel, Rose Wegehaupt, Robert Wegehaupt, George Wegehaupt, Arthur Wegehaupt and Melvin Wegehaupt; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Storm, Herb Geidel, Lorenz Negebauer, Albert Negebauer, Bernard Reimnitz, Anita Wegehaupt, Ruth Wegehaupt, Alvina Negebauer and Anita Negebauer.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Agnes Reimnitz.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (40201 270th St, Dimock, SD 57331). A prayer was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
