It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Jibben of Parker, South Dakota, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jesse and Lucille Jesse (Rang); and her husband Delmar Jibben. She is survived by: her children, LaMont Jibben (Marlene) of Parker, SD and VaLoy Wilkens (James) of Pukwana, SD; her grandchildren, Nikki Whiting of Sioux Falls, SD, Jordan Wilson (Crista Pick), Jessica Vogel (Zach) of Rancho Cordova and Darren Jibben (Kayla) of Rancho Cordova, California.; and her great grandchildren, Tate (Hannah), Davin, Terryn, Tiegan, Zander, Payzly, Brayden, Carter and Jameson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home (130 E 2nd St, Parker, SD 57053). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tieszen Memorial Home Chapel (312 E State Ave, Marion, SD 57043).
