She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wesley Budde and Nellie Budde (Drost); her husband Harold Smith; and her children, Carol Heisel (Bob) of Dell Rapids, SD, Richard Smith (Tracy), Linda McDowell (Bob), Denver and Jeff Smith (Lisa). She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
