He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Christensen and Alma Christensen (Dickman); his wife Idella R. Delzer; his son Steven Christensen (Deone) of Parker, SD; his granddaughters, Monie Siemonsma (Heath) of Humboldt, SD, Stephanie Even (Jim) of Parker, SD and Amy Johnson (Greg) of Hartford, SD.; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Connor, Alex Siemonsma, Tanner, Alexis, Andrew Even, Gavin, Grady, Avery and Audrey Johnson. He was also cherished by his wife, parents and in-laws.

Due to Covid-19, the family request that guests wear a mask and practice social distancing at both opportunities to celebrate Jerome's life.
