Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Fern Bovee of Parker, South Dakota, born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 96, on August 23, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Nelson and Signe Nelson (Gustafson) of Lake Preston, S. D.; her husband Arnold Bovee; her brothers, Lloyd, Herbert, Waldo and Leo; her sister-in-law Zelda Nelson; her son-in-law Jim Van Gerpen; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Marie Bovee.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Bovee (Mary), Gwen Van Gerpen and Suzann Matthies (Tim); her grandsons, Nathan Bovee (Shanna), Joshua Bovee (Erin) and Tyler Matthies; her great grandchildren, Claire and Connor Bovee; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Nelson, Mary Ellen Nelson and Carol Dawson.
