She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Freese and Grace Freese (Viet); her husband Merlin Knudsen; her brother Robert Freese; and her children, Marlene and Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Schimkat (Greg), Sheryl Hamilton (David), Roger, Scott and Timothy; her daughter-in-law Cynthia; and her grandchildren, Pam Johns (Bill), Jason Knudsen, Taylor Schimkat (Erin), Rachel Beskid (Phil), Kate Lindstrom (Bryan), Christina Hamilton, Josh Hamilton, Roger Knudsen Jr. (Beth), Doug Knudsen and Aaron Knudsen. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Agena wishes for memorials to be directed to Lifescape in Sioux Falls, SD.
