He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mildred Theresa Weideman; his children, Richard Hansen (Angela) of Hot Springs, SD, Marlys Hansen of Waterloo, IA and William Hansen of Hurley, SD; his foster son Tony DesLauriers (Kelly) of Great Bend, KS; his grandchildren, Barry Hansen, Kristian Ellendorf (Josiah), Christopher Hansen (Krista), April Hansen, Jasmyn Dysthe (Alex), Shane, Logan, Victoria, Kayden Hansen, Ryan and Lexie DesLauriers; his great grandchildren, Reise, Truett, Oaklynn, Shiloh, Julian Ellendorf, Maverick and Myles Dysthe; his sisters, Lavilla Levtzow, Phyllis Markegard and Karen Bent (Claude); his parents, Halbert Hansen and Leah Hansen; his brother Robert James Hansen; his grandson Luke Densel Hansen; his great grandchild Ezekiel Richard Hansen; and his brothers-in-law, Lyle Levtzow and Dale Markegard. He was also cherished by his wife.
