He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joao Antonio Goncalves and Maria Serafina Goncalves (Oliveria); his wife Maria Natalia Silveira; his children, Maria Esperanca Azevedo (Joe) of Orient, SD and Antonio Alberto Goncalves (Maria Joao) of Elk Grove, CA; his grandchildren, Brian Azevedo of Orient, SD, Kevin Azevedo (Kayce Thomas) of Harrisburg, SD, Kimberly Azevedo of Cincinnati, OH, Manuel Mendes of Elk Grove, CA and Nathan Goncalves (Abigail Mader) of Bellingham, WA; his siblings, Maria De Rosario Enes of Modesto, CA, Manuel Goncalves (Rosa), Cabo Da Praia and Joao Goncalves Cabo (Laurinda); his sisters-in-law, Vivelina Goncalves and Cabo Da Praia; his godchildren, Jacinta Enes of Modesto, Lucia Silveira of Modesto, CA and Joe Goncalves (Amy) of Maricopa, AZ; his siblings, Antonio Goncalves and Madalena (Silva); his brothers-in-law, Antonio Venancio, Silva and Manuel Enes; his godparents, Antonio Pedro and Laura Soares; and his godson Valdomiro Silveira. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
