He is survived by: his stepbrothers, Orville Poore and Harold Fitzner; his sons, Ralph and Timothy; his grandson Dan; his children, Ruth Ann Dahl (Harold) of Hot Springs, Linda Fitzner (Ken Iwanicki), Joan Huelsen (Harold) of Howard City, MI and Tim Fitzner (Kathy) of Custer; his son-in-law Ken Abegg; his grandchildren, James Slaughter (Angie) of Huntsville, AL, Cindy Messer III (Rich) of East Peoria, IL, Wendell Hertel (Carolyn) of Hot Springs, Kristine Bogner of Rapid City, Joseph Huelsen (Helena) of Winimucca, John Huelsen of Howard City, MI, Matthew Iwanicki, Johanna Iwanicki, Jeanene Krentz of Spearfish, Daniel Fitzner (Elena) of Kyiv, Lisa Fitzner, Cheri Fitzner and West Palm; and his parents-in-law, Ralph Fitzner (late Dorothy) of Rapid City, Helen Bennett of Hot Springs, Esther Wineteer (late Russell) of Gillette, WY, Alevia Howe (late Lester) of Rapid City and Liliane Howe (late Henry) of Highlands Ranch, CO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many more grand-nieces and nephews and their children.
