He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Vig and Edith Vig. He is survived by: his spouse Adelia Heitz; his children, Darrell Vig (Tammy) of Opal, SD, Dale Vig (Sheila), Dean Vig (Elizabeth) of Montana and Denise Meyer; and his brother Dwayne Vig (Zona) of Opal, SD. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, people are encouraged to donate to: Opal Volunteer Fire Department, Opal Hall, or Opal Community Church.
