Helen Lygtebo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lygtebo of Oldham, South Dakota, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Helen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Helen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lygtebo and Alma Lygtebo (Hovden); her siblings, Julia Pederson, Inez and Alfred Lygtebo; and her brother-in-law Pete Pederson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Free Lutheran Church (213 US-81, Arlington, SD 57212). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
