It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Brown Bull (Oglala, South Dakota), born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, who passed away on April 29, 2018, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Vernal T. Brown Bull, Sr.; her daughters, Heather Eagle Hawk and Samantha Eagle Hawk; her brothers, Vernal Brown Bull, Jr., Timothy Brown Bull, Sr., Alden Matthew Belt and Baby Boy Brown Bull; and her granddaughter Angel Leah Yellow Thunder.
She is survived by: her children, Saul James Yellow Thunder, Jr., Joseph Alden Yellow Thunder, Sr., Angeleah Rose Eagle Hawk, Justin Tibbitts Eagle Hawk, Jesse Thomas Eagle Hawk and Lee-Ann Avis Eagle; her siblings, Oliver Brown Bull, Sr. of Oglala, SD and Sandra Janis of Kyle, SD; and her grandchildren, Candice, Dallas, Marena, Heather, John, Tyree, Jerome, Cesslie, Mariah, Hailee Jo, Joseph Jr. and Aubree.
