He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Olson and Alvina Olson (Nelson); his sons, Myron and Loren Olson; his brothers, Ivan Olson and David; his granddaughter Lori; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Stratton, Sheldon Stratton and Floyd Hilden.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Stratton of Madison; his children, Linda Nelson (Bill) of Dell Rapids and Michael Olson (Jackie) of Nunda; his daughters-in-law, Mavis Peltier (Mark) of Madison and Kim Nordling (Dan) of Madison; his siblings, Carroll Olson (June) of Wentworth and Joyce Hilden of Spearfish; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Olson of Nunda, Esther Stratton of Sioux Falls and Bonnie Stratton of Madison. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren & 28 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund or Prairie Queen Cemetery.
