We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2021, at the age of 83, Lee Roy Braun (Newell, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael Braun and Anna Braun (Mischel); his siblings, Anna Faye, Mary Ann, Beatrice and Edward "Bud"; his nephews, John and David; and his niece Doris.

He is survived by: his son Edward; his former wife Margaret Fjeldahl; his son Martin; his wife Dorothy Heil; his daughter Roberta Braun of Grand Junction, CO; his grandson Stephan Lugo of Grand Junction, CO; his stepchildren, Dee Dee, Desi, Dave and Dana; his sister-in-law Mary Braun of Lead, SD; and his brother Tom Braun (Irene) of Box Elder, SD. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
