We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2021, at the age of 75, Mayola Ellen West of New Underwood, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bachand and Lola Bachand; and her brother Gail Bachand. She is survived by: her former husband Roy Philipsen; her child Mel; her husband Warren West of New Underwood; her children, Wendy Philipsen (Randy) of New Underwood, DeeDee Scovel (Tony) of Falcon, CO, Kristi Bradley (Craig) of Mitchell and Brian Philipsen (Jennifer) of New Underwood; and her grandchildren, Richard Stecher (Tarra), Sean Stecher, Buck Scovel (Meagyn), Ty Scovel, Berry Scovel, Austin Scovel, Blake West, Madison West, Hailey Bergstrom (Tony), Maci Bradley, Emma Bradley, Jace Philipsen and Brianna Philipsen. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established and will be directed to Storybook Island.
