It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen L. Degeest of New Underwood, South Dakota, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fenner and Elora Fenner (Fernau); her former husband Joe Comer; her daughter Denise; and her brother Merlyn.

She is survived by: her husband Larry DeGeest; her children, Randy Comer (Joan) of Brownsburg, IN and Janette Comer Emerson; and her close friends, Paul, Jodi, Helen and Bill Richter.
